Xiamen University Scholarships 2025/2026

Xiamen University, founded in 1921, is a public higher institution located in Siming, Xiamen, Fujian, China. It is one of the notably large teaching and research universities in Asia which offers 82 undergraduate programs.
The Xiamen University CSC Scholarships are government funded programs which target brilliant international Students from all around the world who want to undertake their Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral degree program at the Chinese university.
Applications are open for the Chinese Government Scholarships in Xiamen University and interested candidates are welcome to apply for a chance to get funding that will cover all the expenses while studying in China.
Tuition Fees
If you are studying at Xiamen University (XMU) the tuition fees differ depending on if the program is at its campus in China or Malaysia. Students at Xiamen University China are charged between 24,000 to 26,000 CNY for undergraduate programs. While the tuition fees for graduate programs range from 26,000 CNY per year to 78,000 CNY.
Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Xiamen University CSC Scholarships;
- Applicant must be non-Chinese national
- Candidate must be in good health.
- For Bachelor’s programs, applicants must hold a high school diploma or above and be under the age of 25
- Master’s program applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or above and be under the age of 40
- For Doctoral programs, applicants must hold a master’s degree or above and be under the age of 45.
Scholarship Benefits
Recipients of the Xiamen University will get complete tuition fee waiver, on-campus accommodation fee or off-campus accommodation monetary subsidy (RMB 700/month for master’s programs; RMB 1,000/month for doctoral programs). There will also be living allowance (RMB 3,000/month for master’s programs; RMB 3,500/month for doctoral programs) and Comprehensive medical insurance.
Other expenses for study in China, such as international travel expenses, cost of physical examination, security deposit and utility costs for on-campus accommodation, and cost of course materials, should be borne by the scholarship recipients themselves.

- Download the application form
- Application Form should be completed in Chinese or English and signed by the applicant.
- Applicants shall complete another online application at http://application.xmu.edu.cn and upload the scan copy of Application Form. There is no need to mail paper application materials.
A comprehensive review will be conducted on applicant’s academic record, language proficiency, overall merits, research achievements and their prospective supervisor’s comments.
