University of Bristol Think Big Scholarships 2025

The University of Bristol is a research university in Bristol, England. It was founded in 1876 but received its royal charter in 1909. It is part of the red-brick Russell Group of Universities. The College is open to men and women on the same basis (except in medicine).

The 2025 University of Bristol Think Big Scholarships is a program designed to support international undergraduate and postgraduate students seeking to study at a prestigious higher institution in the United Kingdom.

The scholarship is valued at £26,000 per year. Apart from a tuition fee waiver, recipients may receive a living cost bursary in the first year of study only, which is paid directly into the student’s bank account.

Tuition Fees

The tuition fees that undergraduates pay at the University of Bristol are mostly the same for the academic programs except for some popular ones. However, on average, the tuition fee ranges from £23,900 to £26,400. Students at the postgraduate level typically pay between£18,600 to £33,900.

Eligibility Criteria

Here are the separate requirements to meet if applying for the Think Big Scholarship at either the undergraduate or postgraduate level at the University of Bristol.

Undergraduate Program

• Applicants must be considered overseas fee payers.
• Candidates must have applied to an eligible full-time Undergraduate course at the University of Bristol.
• All courses except Medicine, Dentistry, and Veterinary Science are eligible.
• Scholarship applicants can apply to receive a formal offer to study from the University, but they need to have at least applied to an eligible course.

Graduate Program

• Applicants must be considered overseas fee payers.
• Candidate must have applied to an eligible full-time postgraduate course be it any one-year taught Master’s program, or one of the following two-year taught Master’s: MA Law or MSc Social Work.
• Scholarship applicants can apply to receive a formal offer to study from the University, but they need to have at least applied to an eligible program and be awaiting an outcome.

Scholarship Benefits

University of Bristol Think Big Scholarship offers beneficiaries grants of up to £13,000 to £26,000 per year for study covering tuition fees. One-off living cost bursaries of up to £3,000 will also be provided to support prospective international students. When selected, in addition to the financial support, you will also gain access to the Think Big Development Programme.
