Canada National Undergraduate Scholarship 2025

Canada National Scholarship for Undergraduates offers a comprehensive funding package for outstanding students throughout their bachelor’s degree program. The scholarship is available for domestic and international students to pursue their undergraduate studies at Western University, Canada.
Western University also known as the University of Western Ontario is a public tertiary institution based in London, Ontario, Canada. It was founded in 1878 and operates twelve academic faculties and schools. The institution is ranked in the top 1% of universities in the world due to its approach of combining research excellence and student experience to create impact locally and globally.
The 2025 National Scholarship Program at Western University is designed to recognize all-round excellence and is awarded on the basis of outstanding academic performance to candidates who demonstrate the ability for creative and innovative thought.
Applications are open for the scholarships which are in categories and worth up to $100,000. Candidates who meet the requirements are welcome to apply for a chance to study in Canada.
Tuition Fees
International students pursuing studies at Western University Canada are typically expected to pay around CAD 63,845 for an academic year. The amount includes tuition fees, program-specific fees, and ancillary fees.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Canada National Scholarship, the applicant must:
- Be a foreign national, Canadian, or permanent resident.
- Have obtained a minimum overall academic average of 90% on all Grade 12U/M courses (or equivalent).
- Have applied for admission to Western University (main campus) to be considered for these scholarships. You should register as a full-time student.
- International Baccalaureate and CEGEP students are eligible for consideration.

Benefits of Scholarship
One aspect of the Canadian National Scholarship is the President’s Entrance Scholarship which provides recipients with;
- $70,000 ($25,000 for year one, $15,000 annually for years two to four)
- $65,000 ($20,000 for year one, $15,000 annually for years two to four)
- $50,000 ($20,000 for year one, $10,000 annually for years two to four)
Another is the National Scholarship Study Abroad Awards which offers up to 46 scholarships at $2,500 for up to 4 months (one term), $5,000 for over 4 months (more than one term)

Application Procedure
- Step 1: First apply for admission to Western University
- Step 2: Candidates are required to also fill out the application form for the scholarship once enrolled.
