Aalto University Finland Scholarship

Aalto University is a government-owned higher institution established in 2010. Its campus is located in Espoo, Finland. The university was formed as a result of a merger between the Helsinki University of Technology, the Helsinki School of Economics and the University of Art and Design Helsinki. Aalto is ranked number 1 in the European country in the fields of arts and design, technology and engineering, and business and economics.
The 2024-2025 Aalto University Finland Scholarship is designed for outstanding international students from all counties outside the EU and Switzerland, seeking to undertake 2-year Master’s degree programs in Finland.
Finland Scholarships awarded by Aalto University have been a part of the national Finland Scholarship programme funded by the Ministry of Education and Culture. Financial aid awarded under the program are disbursed based on merit, and they come in the form of full or partial waivers for selected candidates.
Tuition Fees
Aalto University, Finland charges international students (Non-EU/Switzerland) the same tuition fees for an academic year. On the average, the tuition fees for bachelors programmes at Aalto is around €12 000, while masters students pay about €15 000 for their studies.
Eligibility Criteria

- You must be a non-EU/EEA citizen liable to tuition fees
- Apply for admission to an eligible Master’s degree at Aalto University.
- Meet the English Language requirements of the university.

- Business and Economics: Master of Science (Economics and Business Administration)
- Technology and Engineering:

- Master of Science (Landscape Architecture)
Scholarship Benefits
Aalto University Scholarship provide successful candidates with tuition fee waivers for the duration of the masters programme. The scholarship covers either 100 % (Category A scholarship) or 50 % (Category B scholarship) of the tuition fee. A grant worth 5000 € will be awarded t recipients relocation and other costs for the first year of studies.
